The debut release from Lothar & Matthew is an album made almost entirely with found-sound clips and free samples found online. The vast majority of the sound files were found on The Freesound Project website, part of the Creative Commons realm. Each song was constructed using the Random Sample feature on the website. Samples were selected essentially by chance with a tiny bit of discretion.

Originally released as a torrent file back in 2008. Now finally available through bandcamp! Album artwork has been updated as the original cover art might not have adhered to proper Creative Commons licensing.

This was the first set of material I felt comfortable actually unleashing into the wild and compared to my early efforts learning to construct electronic music, it's not entirely embarrassing!
